The officer has gone through the process, the split was 8 to 4 not guilty, this does not need to countinue, the officer and the deceased family have been through enough

If he had shot a white person, no one would be calling this a travesty of justice.

Hello,
I followed the trial everyday. I PRAYED for Both Families. I truly believe that all three officers didn't know what was going on when they arrived only Ferrell was trying to break in a home. He charged officer Kerrick and said shoot me, shoot me. The officer was in FEAR FOR HIS LIFE. HE IS INNOCENT. There is NO BLACK AND WHITE HERE!

This is ridiculous...the man is innocent. Policemen get the worst rap. Why would anyone want to be one?? They are under relentless pressure and scrutiny. In the Kerrick case, it is obvious that in the few seconds that passed, he had no other choice to do anything else. Ferrell was CHARGING him and did not stop when told to get on the ground. Let Kerrick go. A retrial is not necessary and would be very costly just to get receive the same results as this trial got.

I do not think there should be a re-trial.

There was no evidence at the beginning to charge Officer Kerrick to start with. You are using Officer Kerrick to play into your politics instead of the truth.

If this officer were found guilty by 12 police officers I would leave it alone, but he was not even tried by his peers and could not be found guilty. Leave it alone.

Officer Kerrick should not have gone to trial in the first place. Please do not re-try him!

I just don't think the state can make a case. Its about right and wrong and not politics, Cooper should let it go.

Nothing more to accomplish with new trail except political aspirations. Please leave Officer Kerrick alone and let him move on with his life.

Any officer has the duty to use deadly force to a charging suspect that does not obey a command from a officer. If Mr. Feral had obeyed office Kerrick he would be alive today.
