I think that Officer Kerrick is innocent and we need to all get past this and move on..

What we're witnessing these days is a total disregard for law and order. What is equally disturbing is the lack of support from the police department and government officials and especially Police Chief Rodney Monroe.

Please do not re-open. Justice has been served as well as possible.

Officer Kerrick was only defending himself.

No point in wasting more time or money. Do not retry

A retrial will only cost tax payers more with evidence presented he did his job. No good will come of a new trial

8-4 says it all. Why waste taxpayer's money. Let's move on.

After someone takes drugs, drinks, gets in an argument with their girlfriend, drives while intoxicated, wrecks, pounds on someone's door until they think he is trying to break in, is mad & aggravated already. When someone will not obey a command to get on the ground, charges an officer & tries to take his gun & shots fired do not even faze him, then officer Kerrick was definitely fighting for his life. The family did not deserve over $2 million dollars, deserved nothing !! Officer Kerrick & his family have already been thru way too much. He did not think his gun was even working, since the gut was still coming. I would have shot 20 times if I had to when it was either my life or his. He was a huge football player with the strength of a mule. I saw where he beat up an elderly black guy. He is & was nothing but a big bully & thug. Too much money has already been wasted on a trial that never should have occurred in the first place. Black lives matter, yes, but so do white lives. Free Kerrick of ALL charges. He was only doing his job & trying to protect his own life. You could not pay me enough to have to do his job !!!!!

I believe justice was well served in that Officer Kerrick received a fair trial with an impartial jury.

I totally support officer Kerrick. It is obvious from the dash cam video that the suspect was aggressive. He did what he had to do.

NO new trial. It was a witch hunt from the beginning.

I fully support Officer Wes Kerrick in his legal fulfillment and execution of his law enforcement duties. We do not know how we would fulfil our obligations in a situation similar to this one. I am in hopes that there will be no retrial on these charges.

Please, do not spend any more time on this case. There is no need to retry. The jury has made its decision, split though they may be, it is a decision. Thank you.

no need for another trial

Enough is enough. With two grand juries and a jury which had 2/3 in favor of aquital surely this points to inocence!!!!

Tried once and his peers have spoken.

Jonathan should have obeyed the officer's commands to get on the ground and none of this would've happened. The family should not have been paid until after the trial.
