This Officer has been through ENOUGH!!! The Jury made the RIGHT DECISION 8 for Not Guilty; 4 for Guilty. This Decision should stand and there should not be a Retrial

The young man who was killed should have known to hold up his hands and say "I wrecked my car and was trying to get help". It would have been so different outcome. Charging toward the officer left him with no choice but to protect himself. I don't understand why we had an expensive trial! I would like to know the reason for the 4 people who wanted to convict.

Law Enforcement has become a target because we are doing our jobs and not allowing the criminal element to do as they please! COPS LIVES MATTER TOO!

This officer did what he should have done. He wasn't in the wrong and shouldn't have had to go through this. The money that was paid to the family of the so called victim needs to go to Officer Kerrick and his family the true victims!

My wife is in law enforcement so I do look at both sides ,however how this case went to trail is beyond reasoning . The only thing I guess was fear of backlash from the community oh well all that $$$ down the tube, not one time did Roy Cooper mention to remember the Kerrick family in his press conference the anguish they had to endure for a son , husband and father just doing his job trying to make it home alive after another shift . So please remember Randall Kerrick and his family for that matter all law enforcement officers

What else could he do? Other than hand over his gun!!! Looks like we are going to lose a great officer!!! He should never have been on trial!!!

Let the man go. Follow laws and we wouldn't have to deal with this

Great to hear its over. Now make it law if an officers life is in jeapordy they can shoot. Thugs knowing they can wrestle for an officers weapon is unacceptable. Our best men and women won't consider a profession controlled by empty headed politicians.

Stop this political witch hunt! You're sacrificing Randall Kerrick solely to pacify the naacp, it's just enough now.
