While I understand an investigation most certainly should have occurred, this officer defended himself and his fellow officers. Railroading him, Mr. Cooper, was not and will not be the way to win your election. You have quite literally lost the support of all LEOs and their families. The thin blue line is real and its reach is far and wide. Retry Wes Kerrick and you will not only have proven your lack of respect for LE but you will have committed political suicide if you have not already.
