kerrick was COMPLETELY justified in his actions. Sorry a man had to die, but that man made his choices when he didn't do what the officers told him, and charging a policeman, when he tells you to stop, well, he made his choice. Someone needing help wouldn't / shouldn't behave like the deceased did.. I mean, I would expect to be shot if I acted as he did...

The system works. The people have spoken. Enough already. An acquittal should have been the outcome. But the system worked anyways. The judicial system worked. Stop prolonging the truth. The people, the majority have spoken.

He's innocent. His life has already been destroyed. The city already paid the Ferrell's off. Go back to Florida. The next trial needs to be the Kerrick family during the City of Charlotte and Rodney Monroe in Civil Court. He was doing his job.

enough is enough! Give this man some peace. First grand jury did not indict. Eight jurors said not guilty. People are making a mockery of the judicial system by continuing to push this issue. I think that the people have spoken - not guilty!

Officer Kerrick was doing his job based on the call sent out by the dispatcher. As far as he knew the man tried breaking into an occupied house and could've had a gun. When the man kept charging instead of following the command to get on the ground I'm sure officer Kerrick felt his life and gun was in jeopardy. It wouldn't surprise me if other police officers are afraid to do their job now after seeing what officer Kerrick and his family have been put through all because he was doing his job. I feel to try him again after all this would be a crime itself.
