There is not enough evidence to convict, another trial would be a waste of tax payers money with the same out come. Do not retrythis case.

I request that you do not again take Officer Kerrrick to trial.

Officer Kerrick is innocent. Leave him alone. Unless you have walked in his shoes you have no cause to judge. If I felt my life was in danger, I would have made the same call.

Waste of money to retry. Police officers have to be able to defend themselves in their line of duty. Victim was at fault in several ways.

I was dumb founded as to how early he was charged in first place. No way an investigation could had been completed that early. I retired from the Gastonia Police department after 30 years. Twenty two of those years I worked in the Detective Bureau. Worked over a hundred death investigations and find it inexcusable for such fast judgment. I admit I do not know all the facts, but I can also assure you the investigators did not know that quickly. This actually could be a suicide by cop. Tragic for the deceased and Officer Kerrick. There are no winners in this incident.

I support our police and respect their abilies to do their jobs and protect others as well as themselves. He saved his own life that night. I haven't met anyone who feels differently.

I feel officer Kerrick was justified in his actions. I hate he and his family are having to endure all the media. Not deserved!

Regardless of the circumstance the kid was given a command to stop running and to get on the ground several times. The kid chose to disobey the cops orders and kept charging at the officer and ultimatelyhe met his fate by disobeying the officer. He had a choice to make but he choose to makenmmm. the wrong one

This man has been tried twice. He does not need to be tried again for doing his job that night. God bless the officers that protect us daily. Let this man & his family live in peace.

If a guy that size was attacking me after the reported home invasion attempt I would have emptied my gun on him
