He was found innocent. Let him live his life in peace. He was doing his job and as a police officer, he had to protect the public and also himself. Don't make the a "Race" issue any more.

There will be nothing other than a hung jury. No verdict will be reached. Do not try this case again; it is a waste to tax payers' money and I will not support Cooper in an election if he seeks an additional trial.

The man was appointed as an officer, sworn in, made a call in a split second. Maybe he is a coward for pulling his gun instead of a taser, regardless he didn't commit a crime. Let's put media attention on something more productive; like maybe all the people ACTUALLY committing crimes in front of our eyes on a daily basis.

As an officer in NC I feel a grave injustice was carried out towards this officer. He was in fear of his life or receiving serious bodily injury. Under 15A-401d2 he was justified in using deadly force. Do not retry this man whose career has been destroyed trying to cater to a political group

I believe that justice has been served , the first grand jury failed to indict officer kerrick, now a jury of his peers have gridlocked 8 to 4 in his favor. Don't continue to tax dollops on this witch hunt.
