Do not retry Officer Kerrick. It was ridiculous he was charged at all. I am a police officer and it was a case of clear cut self defense.

As a public safety officer who is armed the decision he made was critical and not an easy one. He had a man who out sized him climbing on him trying to take his weapon he simply responded until the threat was gone and is alive because he did what he was taught so he is innocent

Innocent ! Evidence shows he did his job and protected himself. Should have never went to trial. Studies show if you under attack and stress your brain doesn't process how many times you pull a trigger you shoot till threat stops.

Please do not pursue a second trial against Officer Kerrick. This Officer was just doing his job, and while tragic, his actions were not criminal.

First grand jury said no PC which makes it justified Has to get a second GJ AFTER a lot of media coverage jury said not guilty 8 to 4. That is enough don't put politics before TRUE justice. I'd the AG continues it will get more officers hurt because they will be afraid to use any force being scared of criminal charges. AG should so what is needed when needed but not at the expense of an officer who qaa clearly being over powered by a suspect in an attempted home break in.
