I Support Officer Kerrick

From everything I've seen of the evidence, Officer Kerrick acted within his training, being one of two Officers present at the moment, he had his firearm drawn, as his partner had drawn his tazer. The tazer failed, and Johnathon Ferrell attacked him. He had no choice. Not saying Ferrell was a bad man, but his actions brought his own demise. NOT a Policeman looking to kill someone.

We support the justice system.

He followed CMPD training. I know this because I had the same training. He was charged because it was political inconvenient.

I oppose trying Officer Wesley Kerrick again.

Not Guilty he should be compensated for what he has lost over doing his job.

Please consider not retrying this case. Officer Kerrick is innocent!!

Could have been any Officer, it just happened to be Kerrick.

The prosecution presented a terrible case and DA in Mecklenburg county calls a defense witness a liar? Very unprofessional.

I think that the officer did what he needed to do to protect his own life. The worst part about it is if the lady whose door Ferrell beat on would have shot and killed him you would never heard a word. But since it was "white" cop "black" man it was made a big deal. Its all about race. The evidence proves that Ferrell was a threat. The video shows Ferrell pull up his pants. For one, that is a sign of aggression and two he pulled up his pants because he knew he was about to run. Also Ferrell's blood was on the officer's gun. Obviously Ferrell had to have been on top of him or a there was a fight. There was mud on the officers uniform. Please explain how mud got on the back of his shoulder if he was not laying on his back. And lastly Rodney Monroe knew he was a coward for what he did and how fast he charged him that is why he resigned. Me personally, if someone is running at me and I feel that my life is threatened I would shoot until they fell also.

One shot will kill you! I've always thought if an officer of law fires his weapon it's because he intends to kill. It doesn't matter if it was 1 shot or ten. The suspect was clearly told to get on the ground.

It is a sad day when the public is more interested in prosecuting a police officer than it is about the act that was committed against that officer. I have been following many of the cases in the news lately and I am wondering why anyone would want to protect and serve a citizenry that is more interested in the rights of the criminal. I for one believe there are many great law enforcement folks out that that deserve our support and we as citizens need to tel the criminal element that if you break the law you will not be put before the officer that took the appropriate action. If you do not listen and follow the directions of the officer or officers the consequences are on your head.

We ask them to protect and serve with their lives and when they do so we treat them as criminals, his actions were justified. If we continue to drag the men and women that protect us through the mud we will just have less and less that are willing to risk their lives for our safety. #Thankfulforthelaw

. The police chief charges one of his own, and then takes it to The grand Jury. The Grand Jury refuse the charge, and doe not return a true bill of indictment. So the Police chief and the court, dismantles that Grand Jury and seats another one and get their true Bill and we wait for two years and the trial starts, It takes over a month before it is turned over to the jury for deliberation. Then after four days of deliberation, they come back with a hung Jury. Eight in favor of not guilty, and Four in favor of guilty. and all the people outside the court start chanting No justice and No Peace. What am I missing, It seems that they need Know Justice and you will Know peace. The facts don't lie

Office Kerrick is innocent. He was just doing his job. The job of an officer. This should have NEVER went to trial!
