My family and I support Officer Kerrick . We feel it will be a total waste of time and money to retry this case. There is no way that 12 individuals would agree that this officer should be convicted.

Maybe 9 times seemed a lot but it would have never gone that far if when he said stop and get on the ground he would have done so. But he decided to go against the law.

This is very sad for both families but officer Kerrick was just doing his job and was trying to protect himself and the other officers. When you wreck your car and try to bust a homeowners door in you know the ex-football player was on something. Sure enough he had been drinking and smoking weed. Really how could you charge this police officer? Then they paid the family right at 3 million dollars. Tbe family should have to pay the money back. Everyone's life matters but all you see is everything is happening because their racist. Just drop it and concentrate on the postive things that are in your life. We need more RESPECT in this world

Where was the original Probable Cause? The evidence clearly shows Officer Kerrick was put in a split second decision where he only had one option. Remember, Sworn officers and deputies do not have the duty to retreat. 15a-401!

He feared for his life. There was no reason for Ferrell to charge at officers. He wasn't running to get help. He waited until he was close to the officers to charge at them. Officer Kerrick had to make a split second decision if he was going to live or potentially die. He decided to protect himself and his fellow officers. He did his job. He should not be punished for it.

Officer Kerrick is Brave and a very good man, he is telling the truth and his family doesn't need to go through another trial and the worries when the truth is that he is innocent.
