This officer should have never been charged. He was doing his lawful job when he confronted Mr. Ferrell and ordered him to get on the ground. Mr. Ferrell did not obey and in fact charged Officer Kerrick. Had Mr. Ferrell obeyed Kerrick's lawful order, he would have been alive today and we would not be having this witch hunt of a character assassination disguised as a trial.

Our police should NOT have to wait to see if they are going to be shot! Don't disobey the law enforcement. Officer Kerrick's life matters! His career has already been destroyed. Let him be.

Let's see... Two grand juries, no evidence, hung jury with 8 not guilty to 4 guilty. This would never be re-tried in any other circumstance

Officer Kerrick should not be retried for the death of Jonathan Ferrell. The vast majority of the jurors faced with all the evidence found him to be not guilty and that should be honored. Wes Kerrick has been treated unjustly through this entire process and the State owes him a debt of gratitude for his service to the city and it's citizens not be continually harassed by those with a political agenda.

I believe that officer kerrick did exactly what we were taught in rookie school. He is innocent and the state couldn't eliminate the doubt. Thank you sir.

This case needs to end now. 1st Grand Jury said no...you pushed your agenda. Majority of trial jury said Not Guilty...do not push your agenda. Leave the politics out of your decision. Let Officer Kerrick get on with his life...never should have been charged to begin with.

Please don't subject this public servant to another trial for doing his job.
