Wes is a dear family friend. He did what any other officer would have done in his situation. He is innocent. He kept shooting until the victim was off of him. He is innocent. He should not be retried. Dont put him and his family through another 2 years of this.

This whole trial was a waste of time, money, and resources. This was yet another attempt by the city of Charlotte to make national headlines and one of the many blatant examples of former Chief Rodney Monroe's racism and dislike of white police officers.

Its sad to see what our officers have to go through now! Everyone complains about stupid things and accuses them of things they know isn't true and when nobody shows up to help when they end up in trouble, they fuss! Our law enforcement is probably more on edge about everything they do or say now than ever before! And they have a valid reason! They have the most dangerous job with what they come in contact with! We should be protecting them from things like this and instead we sit back and watch! Next time your in a restaurant or drive thru, pay for their meal, tell them thank you or do something! I always do and that's the least we could do for them protecting us!
