Having kept up with information this Officer Kerrick deserves the Verdict of "Not Guilty"..........

This officer should not have been charged. His actions were very different from those in Ferguson or N. Charleston. He was only charged because of socio-political pressure. The jury deadlocked at 8 not guilty to 4 guilty. Looks like self defense in this case. It,s unfortunate that someone lost their life but putting an innocent man in prison serves no purpose.

Its a waste of tax payer money to prosecute someone who was doing his job! In a life or death moment you make split second decisions, it might now always be the right one, but I 100 % believe officer Kerrick would be dead had Mr. Ferrell made it to his gun first! He did his job, leave the man alone!

Officer Kerrick did what he was trained to do - to serve and protect himself and others. He's not guilty.

A retrial would only cost the state more money and still end with the same result. Don't throw good money after bad.

If we don't let law enforcement do their job, we won't have any law enforcement.
