Farrell was the aggressor. Kerrick was defending himself.

If the state couldn't convince eight jurors to convict the first time, what could possibly affect a different outcome in a subsequent trial? He shouldn't have been tried the first time.

It was always a political decision (ill advised). The prosecution side have received the justice they sought, they just don't understand the meaning of the word.

I fell this should have never gone to court in the 1st place, and now the whole process should be complete.

TWO TRIALS ARE ENOUGH

This case should have never been in court to start with. As a police officer myself I know the danger and difficulty he faced and know he had to make a split second decision.

A tragedy but not criminal

This was an unfortunate tragedy that could have been avoided had Mr Ferrell just obeyed the officers commands. Enough tax money has been spent on this and should have never gone this far. I would like to know why Charlotte gave the family over 2 million dollars without knowing all the facts.

Two grand juries, and a mistrial. Enough. An unfortunate tragedy, but not a criminal act.

Please do not waste taxpayers money to retry Officer Kerrick. He should not have ever been arrested. Rodney Monroe was too quick to judgement on that arrest. It is obvious that is the reason he left the CMPD. Karrick was hired by the CMPD to do a job and he is being scrutinized because of what happened in Ferguson.
