With the evidence i was able to see not guilty would have been my vote. Since mistrial was issued another trial would most likely be the same wasting time and tax payers money.

He is innocent. I saw Ferrell run at him and the cop next to Kerrick said Ferrell was on top of Kerrick and that's when he shot I heard.

Offiicer Kerrick is innocent. This should have never gone to trial. Nor should there have been that settlement.

2/3 majority voted not guilty after hearing all the evidence. Retrying this case makes no sense financially or politically.

I do not believe Officer Kerrick should be retried. The verdict was 8 to 4 not guilty and I believe there is too much reasonable doubt. Don't put the officer and his family through this again.
