No 12 jurors will ever convict this man for doing his job. I do not want my tax dollars wasted for a re-trial. Please put this to rest so everyone can move forward.

The firsat grand jury and the majority of the trial jury both saw this as it is - a justified homicide by a law enforcement officer who perceived a threat to his life. The shooting in Ferguson was also an unarmed black man - in that case the US DoJ under a very radical AG determined it was a justified use of deadly force.

Do not retry this case. This would be a waste of taxpayer dollars. Officer Kerrick was doing his job and Ferrell was not an innocent bystander (as his mother stated).

This Officer was doing what you as citizens don't have enough guts to do....his job. To protect and serve. The jury has spoken, let the healing begin and let Officer Kerrick get on with his life. If Officer Kerrick had been convicted, every Charlotte-Mecklenburg Officer should have turned in their badges and let the citizens' defend for themselves.

This was a complete smoke screen by the city to avoid a Ferguson type response in Charlotte the officer did his job the city did not. Why retry a man for doing his job. No not again!

ANY officer should have the authority to use deadly force if needed. Yes, many officers misuse their authority but this was not the case. This officer had every right to do what he did to protect himself and fellow officers. An investigation should be mandatory. No officer should have to worry about his life or job after an incident with a SUSPECT.
