This should have never went to court. It's sad this has to be a racial issue. Where is the protesters when our officers get shoot and killed by African Americans. Don't see that on cnn or msnbc do ya or the news papers. Sad to say the least.

Not guilty!! Hate that the young man died, but had he obeyed officer's commands that were repeated numerous times, not ran toward officer, not been drinking an driving, smoking marijuana an who knows what else since blood samples destroyed, he would still be alive! Teach respect an accountability for your actions. Justice for OFFICER KERRICK! Ridiculous City of Charlotte paid that family a penny when Ferrell was responsible for his death!

I have lived here my whole life. I am so disappointed in this ever going to trail. City of Charlotte paid out 2.5 million before trail. Rodney Monroe retires. Coward. Civil suite should follow. First jury said no trail. 8 to 4 vote not quilty. No retrial. Stand behind your police officers.

DO NOT WASTE MY TAXES ON ANOTHER HUNG JURY OR MISTRIAL. I COMPLETELY SUPPORT KERRICK AND HIS PRECIOUS FAMILY! I HOLD CHIEF RODNEY MONROE GUILTY OF THIS COMPLETE MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE FOR KERRICK. MONROE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY EVERY CENT OF BACK PAY TO KERRICK!
