Enough time and money has been spent trying to railroad this young man for doing the right thing! Time to move on and let him get his life back in order WITHOUT having another trial to face. 8-4 speaks volumes to me.

With out police officers doing their job, just think where we would be then? If you break the law or hang with people who break the law, and don't listen to officers commands. You have a very good chance you might get shot. There is a reason why police officers are allowed to carry a fire arm. I have never had a gun pulled on me or fired at me. If you take the right away for an officer to not use his fire arm, then don't allow them to carry one. No matter the details of this case, nobody will know how officer Kerrick felt while he was being attacked. One shot, five shots or 20 shots. What does it matter. If you are going to fire your weapon. You fire it to stop the perpetrator from advancing.

This trail, as many across this country, is not about justice. There is an agenda of hate, ignorance and lawlessness by these very visible groups who want to divide America for many reasons. God fearing people know that skin color has nothing to do with the soul of a person. May we humble ourselves and seek His ways. I pray for His righteousness and our blind selfishness.

I support the officer Kerrick and this is not about race. It is sad that a life was lost but everyone is affected. I know that both families are suffering but we have to be protected.

The mayor of Charlotte, CMPD, Chief Monroe, the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office, and AG Cooper should all be ashamed of themselves. Many should be considered for removal of their positions for this miscarriage of justice and obvious bias play to the media and those with a particular agenda.
