Please do not put this officer through another trial. 8 out of 12jurors found him not guilty. The state could not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

They had their trial, taxpayer money was spent it was 2-1 on favor of Officer Kerrick. Its over. Secondly, how would any of the accusers handle an obviously at the time, disturbed individual charging them disregarding commands knowing he may be after their firearm!? Anybody knows, you DO NOT charge a police officer period! You just don't do it! If you do, that officer must react in the heat of the moment knowing someone charging them isn't doing so to bid him a good evening, he is out to harm the officer! Kerrick was well within his rights to defend himself against someone who obviously meant him harm. What would you do?

People have to take responsibility for their actions. Unfortunately, there are two people's lives affected due to one person's failure to comply/obey a lawful command.

this case should have been dismissed after the first Grand Jury. Do not retry this case. It was a good jury and they have spoken.

It was a terrible tragedy for all concerned. Why did we not hear that Mr. Ferrell charged at Officer Kerrick - for TWO years??? The media really milked this. Sad for all concerned however, officer Kerrick deserves to move on with his life.

I don't think the intent of Justice is to retry until you get the result you desire!!

Please don't waste anymore taxpayers money. Jonathon Ferrell was a thug looking for trouble. Officer Kerrick was doing his job while protecting his life at the same time. Officer Kerrick may have been the one to die if he hadn't have pulled the trigger until the thug dropped. What would the Ferrell family have said then?

Officer Merrick is NOT guilty. Why would someone go running up to the police even if he wrecked his car ?

It is my sincere hope that your office will not seek to retry Officer Randall Wesley Kerrick. The citizens of the community have spoken through a fair and impartial jury selected by both the prosecution and the defense. After hearing the entire story, the vast majority of jurors believed that Officer Kerrick is not guilty of Voluntary Manslaughter.

The jury consisted of both sexes, mixed race, various ages and both the defense and the prosecution approved all twelve of them. Enough said. Let it rest.

I believe Officer Kerrick was justified in using force! Police officer's have tough job! This is not about race. This is about a grown man failing to follow police officers commands and charging at them! It is ridiculous that this officer was even charged!

We turned this over to jury that was selected by both sides. Lets live with the decision they made otherwise we are going to continue to have major issue. Not every one is going to happy no matter what.
