I don't believe Officer Kerrick should have a new trial. He was justified in his actions. Everythng was done by the law. Trail, jury trail by peers and overwhelming most found him Innocence. Please honor the law or we will have a lawless country. Protests are just that. When something happens that the court rules on and certain people don't agree, they protest to get their way. That is not justice.

He was tried by a jury of his peers. They found him not guilty. Enough said.

he defended himself. If ferrel had reached his gun we could have had three dead policemen.

Stop means stop! In today's world with the police being targeted, everyone no matter your race, is at some type of risk if you do not follow what is asked of you. No matter what the situation is. Not all police are bad. Not all police are innocent but in this case I believe he is. If a policeman asked me to stop, put my hands up, lay on the ground or whatever to keep themselves feeling safe... I am going to do it. Common sense. No means no. Stop means stop. God Bless.

He was attacked as soon as he got out of his car. I don' t think he should be tried again. I support officer Kerrick.

I believe Kerrick had reason to fear for his life. Ten shots is a lot but who of us knows what anyone else would have done in similar circumstances,

He was tried by a jury picked by both parties.

We do not need to spend more of our tax money for another trial. Kerrick was found not guilty by first grand jury and 8 jury members voted not guilty in his trial

I do not think he should be tried again. He was tried and it should be over.

I think it would be a waste of tax payers money to retry a innocent man, he was just doing his job

There will never be "closure" when someone dies. Listening and watching the trial the past few weeks. Did Jonathan ever ask for help? Did he ask the homeowner to call 911 or I need help"...No he beats on her door putting dents in the door, setting off alarm and yells at her to shut off her alarm. When confronted by 3 police officers. Did he ask for help? NO Does he tell them he's wrecked his car. NO Why didn't Jonathan ask the two black officers for help? NO he charges the smaller white officer. Why did he charge an officer? I could understand if Jonathan walked up to the officers to ask for help and he was shot.....by all mean the officer is guilty. NO that did not happen! I feel for both families. Always easier to point a fingers and blame someone else, than to accept responsibility for your actions. (in this case your child's actions) DO NOT RETRY WES KERRICK!

I'm a black mother of three sons , and raised them to respect. All law enforcement officers. Officer kerrick, in my opinion, and based on what. I saw and heard throughout trial, did what was required of him. I pray that he will n ot be tried again! This i ask in Jesus name, amen

I think deadly force was justified with the information he had .he was reported to have tried to force his way into a home and charged the officer and refused to stop.
