Should have NEVER BEEN CHARGED! Waste of tax payers money. And now you have our folks that are to protect and serve afraid to do their jobs when it should never cross their mind! So sad.
I believe that the money paid out to the family should come out of Rodney Monroe's retirement fund bc he railroaded this and then ran out before seeing it played out bc he knew that it was wrong.

Officer Kerrick should have never been on trial in the first place. Such a waste of tax payers money. The people who want this retired don't pay taxes. If the Ferrel family wants it retired let them pay for it out of the 2.2 million of our money that they already have. It is sad that a man lost his life. But he made bad choices: at 2:30 am he decided to drink, smoke weed, drive under the influence, wreck his car, scare the hell out of woman by banging and kicking her door down and for charging a cop after he was told to get on the ground multiple times.

What part of STOP and DROP was not understood? Did he not speak or understand the English language? Was he too messed up to be driving in the first place? Was he lookin for suicide by cop while he hollered "shoot me" several times? Prayers for Officer Kerrick and his family. Why does anyone want to be a policeman?

A grand jury decided not to indite and now a hung jury voted 8 to 4 not to convict. Please do not waste tax payer money to try this innocent man again.

A retrial of Officer Kerrick would be a huge waste of public funds. Already expended enough of our limited state funds on the proceedings.
