He's only guilty of doing his job, the "chief" and the City have already tried him. Do not retry him!

The police officer was doing his job as trained. The aggressive action of the deceased resulted in his demise. With proper respect toward the police which I was always taught by my father he would be alive today

The justice system is sovereign it worked the way it was supposed to. Do not retry for a simple minority the majority has spoken

I am a single white women who lives in a predominantly black area of Charlotte NC. I have never seen any racist actions taken on any race or ethnic group. At most, a person may be given the cold shoulder b/c they aren't know in the area. We are a slice of a small town in a big city. Derita does not support the aggressive actions of others in Charlotte and the protest that happen last night was shameful to the citizens of Charlotte, NC! Those who participated in the protest caught on video, in which grown adults curse the police officers who protect them every day and challenge them to hit them, (by the way, that's not a protest... Ask Dr. Martin Luther King) what happened last night was uncalled for and an insult to the citizens of Charlotte!

He did what anyone else in that situation would do. He should be commended not persecuted.

I do not want the Attorney General to retry Officer Kerrick because I believe him to be innocent. Thank you. Mark T Hoffman

I support Officer Kerrick! Evidence speaks for itself-no reason to have tried this in the first place. #KerrickStrong

Should have not been tried to start with. Eight jurors said Not Guilty, it was not close and you will get the same results.
