Officer Kerrick followed his training and the directions of his supervisors. Officer Kerrick was genuinely in fear for his life. 8 of the 12 jurors understood that. He should not be re-tried. The outcome will not change no matter how many times he is tried. We as taxpayers will have to pay for a politically correct re-trial and that is simply not reasonable.

I support the effort to not retry Officer Kerrick. It certainly appeared in the tape finally seen that he was attacked and the taser had no effect. The larger suspect continued to charge and I believe he was in fear for his life. Try to put yourself in his place. God Bless both families.

This man is innocent. The guy drunk, high and beating on doors. He responds thinking it's a break in. Then he tells him to stop, he runs towards him. I can't even believe this went to trial let alone they paid the family.
This Officer should have never been CHARGED!
