This case is all about race. A white officer cannot defend himself when his attacker is a black person. Otherwise he will be prosecuted. Every person who had a hand in charging this officer is not worthy of calling them self a brother in blue. John and Andy were killed because they scuffled with a suspect instead of taking appropriate action against his aggressions. God have us all a brain and the ability to use it. The city gives you the appropriate tools to subdue a suspect to prevent yourself from being injured or killed. Officer kerrick reached a point of no return due to the fear of dying No logical person would ever blame him for what happened .

Tax dollars are wasted retrying this. The majority found him not guilty. That should stand.

It took two Grand Juries to get an indictment, and 2/3 of the jury voted for not a guilty verdict. The State had its chance and did not prove its case. It is time to move on and not retry this case.

The courts have spoken; there are no winners/losers in these cases. It's time to move on and not retry this case.

The lives of two families forever changed from events that unfold in seconds. A dedicated law enforcement officer is forced to make a split second decision based on facts as he knows/perceives them. Likewise for a citizen involved in a traffic collision. There are no winners. There are no villains. There is only hope that we can come together as a community with mutual respect for each other...

God bless him through these trying days he was solely doing his job and reacting as any officer would when their life is in danger. CMPD should be ashamed at how they have treated one of their own!
