The case was presented/heard, the jury deliberated/made their decision based on the evidence; no retry needed!

do not continue on. The jurors spoke with 8-4 in favor of not guilty. Grand jury said it shouldn't go to trial. He answered call for home invasion knew nothing of a wreck. The guy came at him. Stop this nonsense and let him move on. Cause he sure was a scapegoat for the "retired" police chief. One day some may need an officer for help.

Defendant caused his death by being on alcohol and drugs. Police Kerrick didn't know if he was armed as he kept coming at him when told to stop State has spent enough money

Ferrell had two choices 1 stop and listen to police. 2 turn and run the other way instead he attacked an armed police office.

It would be unjust to retry this case.

The jury has spoken, the prosecutors had their opportunity to prove the case, they failed. Why continue to spend $6200.00 a day when the outcome will be the same? The evidence is the same, the decision will be the same. Let the officer go on with his life as he will live with this for the rest of it. Let the guy who lost his life rest in peace... As Elsa says... Let It Go!!!

Wes Kerrick should have never been charged. His own chief "threw him under the bus". The city officials of the city he swore to protect and serve turned their backs on him by not helping fund his defense. We walk behind Wes, and support him in his innocence. NO RETRIAL!!!

I believe in Officer Kerrick. I feel he did what he had no other choice than to do. And in doing his job his chief of police, his city of employment, some of his fellow CMPD officers all let him down. Officer Kerrick went thru a complete hell but remained professional thru it all. God knows all sides of this situation and as a Christian I will stand up and support Officer Kerrick!!!!

Doing his job as an officer to serve & protect! unaware of situation victim charging refusing order several times to get on the ground…officer Kerrick fearful as well as unsure of situation at hand did the right and only thing anyone would have done police or not black or white! This country needs to support those putting their lives out there for our protection!

I feel like he should have never gone to trial at all...that man charged him full on and if my own child charged an officer I would expect the same thing would have to happen!!!!

Let the courts decision stand. Second guessing our judicial system and bending to special interest groups will only further divide our country.
