Officer Kerrick was over charged to begin with. He did NOT commit Voluntary Manslaughter.

There was no evidence to charge Officer Kerrick from the start. If you re try him then that means you are trying to become the next Governor to gain the votes from the protesters.

What the heck was attorneys for both sides thinking in picking that juror that was on wsoc-tv! His mind was made up for conviction before he ever entered the courtroom! The attorney general's office needs to look at this interview!

As a retired Police Chief with over 40 years of law enforcement I do not see justification to retry this case

The jury has spoken. 8 for him innocent, and 4 for guilty. There is no need to retry Officer Kerrick. He is innocent and should have never been charged in performing his job as he was trained to do. Do not retry this case. Thanks!

No need to waist tax payers money, the majority for not guilty won the vote. Move on and let it go, years ago we would not even be here , he's s police officer for Gods sake they have no Idea what there going to face every day they go out in this jungle. If we keep pushing them not to protected us then they will not and that we be our demise!!!!!

Not only has 1 grand jury found no support for a true bill, after a lengthy trial by his peers this young man was found by 8 out of 12 jurors to have been not guilty. Stop this witch hunt.

I think chief Munro should have been the one on trial!! The city should stop payment of the civil settlement agreed to prior to the trial!

I believe ANY policeman would have done the same thing. He was told to stop, and get down, he ran toward the policeman in a threatening manner.

After watching the videos and seeing the evidence. There's one thing Wes is guilty of, doing his job. Wes made the correct deaisions at the correct time so that the innocent could go home safe.
