I Support Officer Kerrick

No retrial. I support Officer Kerrick.

Officer Kerrick should have never been charged. His actions were justified. No more!!!! I am thankful to him and all of the other law enforcement officers who risk their lives daily to protect us! God Bless Officer Kerrick and give him and his family the strength and peace to move forward with their lives.

I support Officer Kerrick!

After watching the evidence presented during the trial I believe officer Kerrick thought he was acting in self defense. An office has a right to protect himself and the public, regardless of race, has the responsibility to obey lawful police orders.

Officer kerrick should not have been charged in the first place, All evidence points towards a justified shoot.there is no need to waste the states money and everyone elses time.

I support this fine officer but do not support the former coward that was the chief of police.,

As I read these comments, it amazes me how ignorant you ppl are. Yes there are good cops out here doing there jobs. But you have these so call super cops who think because they have on a badge, they're above the law themselves. Kerrick is one of them. His whole attitude was false. To him just another black man dead. Yet no apology of any kind to the family of Ferrell. That just goes to show white America still thinks they're the superior. My opinion, kerrick should be done just like he did Johnathan.

If we convict police officers for defending themselves, how can we expect them to defend us?

Justice IS being served. Many do not see past there noses. He is not guilty.

There is no need to waste county/state monies on a retrial. The evidence supports officer Kerrick's actions. The rush to judgements on the part of the prosecution and Chief of Police were unwarranted and unfair to Officer Kerrick and all other law enforcement personnel charged with the impossible task of keeping the peace in Charlotte. I have reviewed all of the evidence in this case, and like the majority of the jurors would have voted for acquittal.

This has become a race case filled with emotions. Stick to the facts of what happened in those last moments. As a police officer and a human he had the right to defend himself against attack. I have tremendous respect for what police officers risk going to work on a daily basis.

By no means does this need to be retried. There will never be a full jury to go either way due to all issues revolving this case. We had already heard from one-no two - yes and three-no. This is enough to let this go and start the healing for all involved. If it continues there may be more lives lost due to the force that is being displayed in riots with our law enforcement officers. Let peace start NOW!!!

I have never doubted that officer Kerrick acted properly.

The officers were answering a very dangerous call not just a traffic accident. Four people had contact with the suspect that night and all of believed he was very dangerous. Once Officer Kerrick had his gun in his hand he had to shot or fight a much big man one handed. The officer says he had been train to draw his pistol once another officer drew his pistol. I believe he was following his training. There is no question that the suspect was on top of him at some point.

Enough already. Very weak case to start with. Police Chief Monroe was too fast in his comments of guilt.

No retrial! The evidence has been presented and the majority voted not guilty! No officer should be arrested for simply doing his job!

He feared for his life.

Pease let this family have some peace now. I support Officer Kerrick and all our Law Enforcement!
