Any experience prosecutor can look at what has happened with this case and know that it would not be possible to get 12 jurors to vote to convict. It is a total waste of time, money and lives to try this case again.

My heart goes out to the Ferrell family. However, Jonathan's series of poor decisions are what led to this tragedy. Citizens of this country must be accountable for their actions. Two families are now forever changed and will never be the same. I stand behind Officer Kerrick and his family and pray that both they and the Ferrells find peace after this ordeal. This trial was politically motivated from the beginning. There is no justification in wasting time or resources on another trial. Please do NOT pursue another trial. Let this one rest and do not give into political pressures to pursue a second.

This has been heard by fair and impartial jury and the result was clearly in favor of Not Guilty. Please do not allow this case to be retried and let the healing process begin.

The police force is the fine line between order and complete chaos. There will always be casualties. I support Officer Kerrick and the decision he had to make while on duty.
