I am a rate payer and a father. I much rather young people do this than on ice and committing crime.

I don't drift and neither do my girls but I still think....Let them drift....at least they're not off doing drugs and terrorising the neighbourhood!

let the kids be kids. be thankful they're doing something outside and enjoying it. would much rather them be doing this than sitting infront of the TV, xbox etc.

My kids enjoy riding and it's all of the family getting out of the house . It's also a great way people all over can come together and have fun and exercise .

I support Melbourne drift trikes because I reckon it is a great passtime, anything that brings people together to share an interest has got to be good.

I support the freedom to let people ride their trikes down Melbourne hills. It should be seen the same way it is as biking, these guys are wearing full safety equipment and are taking every precaution they can. They just want to make the road a safe place for everyone, while allowing people to ride down the road safely. If someone is driving recklessly, like crossing lanes when going down the hill, then they should be punished, not every rider out there. If drift trikes are treated in a similar fashion as is done with biking, everything would be much safer. Drift trikers should have to wear a helmet when riding on the road, should stay on their side of the road at all times, should allow cars to pass if they're going faster than you and follow every other road rule that a biker does. Trikers shouldn't be punished because of one riders stupidity. I'm 14 years old, and if I can see that then I expect an adult to see that chain logic like that never works.

I am one of the drifters that drifts at the pakenham hill I started drifting in August 2014 and ever since fell in love with the sport and tyres not to miss one slide night or day until now. I am really surprised and appreciative of all the support we have got and like to thank our community :)

I live opposite the site and you have made it a safer place for me to walk my dogs by cleaning up the area and keeping the sum bags away. It has given people somewhere to enjoy a sport their sport safely. Thank you keep up the good work

i think it would be ashame to stop this fun group. If kids are coming to join in, why spoil it for them, I'm all for kids having fun.

I live very close by and support them wholeheartedly. They appear to be well supervised and clearly have heaps of enjoyment.
