geoPark is the new on-street program established under the slogan “Parking Made Easy” by Smart City Solutions Inc. in collaboration with the Mayor and City Council of Georgetown.
The program is making the difference in our city and establishing new urban policy examples for the rest of the country, as it helps to substantially improve mobility, accessibility and urban reordering as well as provides the following benefits:
* Increase Parking availability for persons parking in Georgetown
* Improve Traffic Flow
* Reduce Congestion in the Garden City
* Increase Revenue and Order for the Municipality
* Creation of Legitimate Jobs
* Environmentally Friendly equipment

I am currently coordinating a meeting with city officials to show them the growing list of people who support the expansion of GeoPark. Call the Mayor's office today to insist they prioritize this project for our streets. Tell your neighbors to post about the benefits of this program on Facebook.

The parking meter is a good solution for the city, it will help to reduce congestion,create revenue to keep the city clean, create jobs,space and reduce lawlessness,
A reduced price of $ 100 per hour will be appropriate, at this time of Guyana's Economic development. Prices can gradually be increased over the next three years.
I support, it's time Georgetown get some order. Question, can tickets be issued instead of clamping? If payments are not made within a month, interest should be added . If no payment is made, GRA should not issue fitness and road licence uñtil the full amount is paid. Please note, interest should be added for every month until payment is made.
I am from CORENTYNE BERBICE and a parking meter will help me to secure a space so that I would be able to shop conveniently. Before parking meter store employees and derelict vehicle always take up the commercial space.
I think it's a good start but it's parking rate should be considered not only for those who can afford but for those who trying to make a living

Please ensure the contract works for us Guyanese. But we do need order in our parking.
