The Jesuit high school and Catholic college I attended would not have done this. I will also redirect my donations from the church to Planned Parenthood. #IStandWithKateMurray

Look at all the murdering supporting scum. Hey Kate, how about you look for a school that is not catholic. That way you can be as disgusting as you want.

Kate has every right to stand for what she believes in. How awful to malign a young girl's attempt to support women's rights!

The U.S. Constitution begins with 'WE THE PEOPLE', NOT WE the Catholic people or WE the religious people.
Sacred Heart Greenwich is violating the First Amendment of the Constitution, and parents should think twice about enrolling their daughters in a school that does not celebrate and embrace equality. This school claims they don't pick sides in political debates, yet threatening expulsion over a Planned Parenthood sticker IS taking sides, and the hypocrisy is STUNNING.

I'm behind you, Kate! Do what you believe is right for you. Thank you for standing up for Planned Parenthood, an important resource for teens and women. It offers so much to those who want to be responsible but can't afford and wouldn't feel comfortable going to their doctor.

Thank you for your very direct and honest comments about your perspective as a teacher at Sacred Heart Greenwich today. I am sorry that you feel that you can not reveal your name - that in and of itself should be a huge red flag to the board of trustees that this is an administration that bullies/scares not only students but other admin and teachers into not expressing their viewpoints or opinions unless they jibe with the right wing conservative beliefs of Ms. Hayes and other senior admin and board members. Most teachers do not have the luxury of putting their jobs, raises, reviews and benefits on the line for personal beliefs - and Pamela knows that. Frightening. When my daughter started at CSH in 6th grade in '08 that was not the case - we were welcomed with open arms as non-catholics as were our daughter's opinions and beliefs - and today the head of school and head of upper school have shut down all open dialogue and - even more disturbing - believe they have the right and power to do so - through subtle intimidation and threats of expulsion AND with the backing of the board. Seems like CSH Greenwich is in another century and another country right now - this was a sticker supporting basic health care for those who need it and can often not afford it. WWJD? Certainly not this. Certainly not this at all. I pray for true wisdom and guidance for the teachers/admin and the students who are at CSH Greenwich now - and especially for Kate who at 15 years of age has more on her shoulders than she ever could have imagined when she proudly put that sticker on her computer.

as a Greenwich resident since 1972, I have tried to be sympathetic with both my father's faith in the Catholic church, and my mother's choice that we attend First Presbyterian. It has been the abusive dogma imposed by the catholic church (along with it's hypocrisy and hiding abuses) that has completely soured me to the church my father loved so much. Shame on Sacred Heart Greenwich for imposing censorship on it's students.
