It's fine when a girl who is pro-life sends a descriptive video of an abortion to the ENTIRE school (Mrs. Collins approved after email was sent out) but when someone has an opposing opinion and just has a sticker they try to kick her out. Way to go CSH

Sacred Heart likes diversity that plays nice with what they want. The second that you get an idea that doesn’t sit well with what they want, you get shut down. Not everything that’s written by the Church is necessarily taken as a general role in today’s society. Things change. What will never change, however, is the need of diversity of thought and of opinions. Without that, we will never have true resolution.

While I respect Catholics views on abortion, I equally respect the rights of these young women to have “independence of judgement” and a “deep respect for intellectual values”. Kate is demonstrating both of these key Sacred Heart values and criteria. #istandwithkate

Focus on the good of PP and encourage our youth to be engaged in humanity. At this delicate time in our country, do not mute this young woman’s voice - instead encourage dialogue, honesty and courage. Arent these the lessons and challenges we must tackle each day?
I will donate to your school if this is resolved in a reasonable manner, but will withhold my annual contribution otherwise. Girls must be allowed, foster d even, to grown into women who can search their hearts and minds to be the best firm of themselves that God intended. Do not let Sacred Heart become an obstacle to christian adulthood. Thank you
