I am in full support of Kate Murray and her choice to support Planned Parenthood. Be strong, Kate. You can also be a "good" Catholic while supporting this organization! This school should be extremely pleased to have an intelligent and thoughtful student such as yourself!

What happened to freedom of speech? And rights of individuals? She did no wrong against the school.

As a CSH alumna (Class of 2006), I am shocked and appalled by the school's gross mishandling of the situation. I am proud to put my future donations towards supporting Planned Parenthood's mission.

Freedom of speech and family health care rights! Need lines between State and Church to remain free if bias and respectful of individuals rights of thought and speech and religion! I can have faith and or subscribe to any religion, without having to agree with all of there beliefs, dogma or rules and regulations. Thank God for freedom of choice, speech and the pursuit of Happiness! Respect people's individual choices even if, or especially when, you don't agree!!!

I thought the Catholic Church was starting to broaden its horizons through Pope Francis. The action by Sacred Heart Greenwich is a step back.

Such a fuss about an organization that helps a lot of people. Is the school and the Catholic Church protesting in states that have the death penalty and against the injustice in our current government?

I am a man who went to PP for a routine health service just last week. They charged me $25, I gave them $50 and thanked them for standing strong despite the neverending efforts to defend them.

2006. I have never donated any money to this school, but when I graduated the former school head made a donation in my name so that she could lie and claim 100% contribution to our class gift. I'm so pleased to now have the means to make a sizable donation to Planned Parenthood in their name. I was always very vocal about my stance on abortion - not to mention how much I hated the school and everything it stood for - and never faced any sort of repercussion. If I had known all it would take was a sticker supporting a women's health organization I would have bought a dozen. This whole situation is ridiculous, and while I personally don't understand why anyone would choose to attend this hellhole, this kid should be allowed to stay if that’s what she really wants.

Why is helping women against your belief?

Your comment is so misguided that it is not even worthy of this response.

Your comments are illogical, just like the response of the school . They do not want to encourage independent thinking in an atmosphere of "wise freedom", they are looking for conformity. If you really believe what you say than you wouldn't be "ashamed" to sign your name. Get your facts straight and stop hiding under your "Son of God" banner.

What the school is doing is clearly a violation of this girl’s Constitutional rights.

As a Sacred Heart alum (91 street '71) I find it shocking that the value of teaching young women to be independent thinkers is obviously not as important today as it was 40 years ago!

This isn't about whether or not you are for Planned Parenthood. This is about how Sacred Heart Greenwich is pressing their beliefs on a student. This is completely inappropriate. Kate should be respected for her beliefs and not feel pressured into changing them.
