I totally back Kate. In this age of Trump, we desperately need heroes like Kate who are willing to stand up for our First Amendment freedoms.

I am a graduate of 91st Street CSH and cannot believe that this could possibly be taking place today. It would not have even happened back in the 70s when I was a student. I don't agree about the donations being sidelined, however, I could not NOT respond to the fact that this lack of freedom of thought and speech could be allowed to become the norm at any school. By the way, I am a practicing Catholic and also graduated Georgetown. Good luck, Kate!!

Shocking and disturbing that you would try to silence a young woman for supporting an organization that protects women. Shameful.

Schools should a bastion of free speech! This is terrifying that a well known, well regarded school considers this acceptable behavior. I suggest the school staff read a little history; only a generation ago Greenwich would not let Catholics (or Jews or blacks etc) buy homes in the back country! That sort of intolerance starts with restricting free speech!

Stand up for what you believe in.

This is outrageous. Way to go Kate. I hope you proudly put the sticker back. Supporting women’s reproductive health: cancer screening, Pap smears , breast exams etc. It would be wonderful if a religious school taught tolerance and the respect for your first amendment right!

I am outraged! As an alum of 91st in Manhattan and consistent donor/parents on the board I urge you to change your mind. It’s embarrassing. I’m sonsademes by this news.

As an alumnae of CSH, I'm extremely disappointed with how the administration is handling this situation. During my time there students had multitudes of stickers on their laptops and cases displaying every sort of character, organization, social problem, or piece of media that existed. Unless the stickers had swear words or were otherwise vulgar, there was no problem. It is astonishing that THIS sticker (or any sticker for that matter) could be grounds for expulsion from any school, much less one that claims to be a community of socially conscious and intelligent people. I stand with Kate. I stand with Planned Parenthood. I stand with those who make the choice to have an abortion. I stand with those who choose not to. I stand for the freedom to make that choice.

I am a mother of 3 daughters. We are Catholic and I stand by planned parent hood as well as my daughters do. Sacred Heart should be ashamed of themselves.

I am an educator working in the field of political science. I believe this is a learning opportunity about the first amendment. While the school may have rights to expell the student, she should be praised for taking such a brave stand. The school should be proud to have a student who is willing to do this. We could all learn from her.
