I hope Sacred Heart, through the word of Christ, finds the way to love and understanding and a full acceptance and embrace of Kate.

I stand with Kate. To threaten to expel a 15 year old girl over a bumper sticker is beyond ridiculous. She is entitled to her own beliefs and should not have her voice stifled.

I attended Sacred Heart for 10 years. The place helped raise me and introduced me to many life long friends. I will always appreciate what Sacred Heart has done for me, but this is unacceptable. Sacred Heart gave me the confidence to use my voice, and now they are taking that power away from students. I stand with Kate Murray, I stand with Planned Parenthood, and I stand with all the powerful young women at Sacred Heart.

I hope Sacred Heart does the right thing. They have a great opportunity to make this a positive learning experience for their students and to open up a healthy dialogue on both sides to discuss freedom of expression.

Planned parenthood is so much more than an abortion clinic and no one should be expelled from a school for personal beliefs.

You cannot deny someone their constitutional right because if religious beliefs. No school is above state and federal law. If she get expelled, then the school will have a massive suit on their hands.

Dear Pam Hayes and the Administration of Sacred Heart Greenwich:
I'm writing with great concern over the news that I am hearing coming out of Sacred Heart Greenwich today about a student (and possibly three others) being threatened with expulsion because of a Planned Parenthood sticker on her laptop.
I urge you to change to your mind here.
Thank you,
Kathryn Prael

Freedom of expression and opinion is far more sacred than this school’s “heart.”

Disappointed, but not at all surprised. Raising strong, empowered women means they will have their own opinions and views. Sacred Heart you’ve failed as an “educational” institution, you’ve failed at creating a safe environment for girls to learn and become women, and you’ve failed to earn any public respect.

It's a sad state of affairs when women's healthcare has become a free speech issue.

I went to 91st Street. Sacred Heart taught me that women should stand up for each other and fight for what we believe in. I stand with Kate and Planned Parenthood.
Simply put, this is deeply unsettling.
