That's a shame for the district to let of a good principle go. But yet a coach that has fits and throws things around make kids feel like garbage is still there.

I kept my sons at SCHS because of the changes and leadership Mike Halt brought about. I have 4 children in Capo district and haven't heard a single negative regarding Mr.Halt's reputation and his job as our principal. People are beyond unhappy with this board and their inability to perform their roles.

Michael Halt has made wonderful changes to SCHS there is no reason for this ridiculous action. Keep him at SCHS

We the students are all outraged that such a competent, well-respected, and much loved principal is being fired for no stated reason and without the say of teachers, parents, or students. He has improved the school in every way, reducing truancy rates, raising student performance, and creating a safer campus. The manner in which he is now being treated after his considerable contributions is unacceptable; he, the principal who has gotten to know the Senior class through years of observing classes, attending sports meets, and interacting with students, will not even be able to speak at our graduation. We want to send a message to CAPO Unified School District: this will not be tolerated. We will stand up for our principal, Mike Halt.
