Finally we get a Principal with integrity in a land of chronic mismanagement and corruption at our school district. Principal Halt was actually doing something good at our High School for the students. Would the Administration please care more about our children and less about Politics, buildings and their paychecks. The time has come for CUSD to realize we all care about our children and grand children in the District and you are accountable to us as parents. I remember when I built my house I handed over a large sum of money in Schools Fees and a portion of my Property Taxes go to your salaries. Please listen to the people...... WE LIKE MIKE!

All metrics at San Clemente High are up, and as evidenced by the number of signatures already, Mr. Halt is very respected at SCHS and in the community. If the District wishes the community to support this decision, they are going to have to be more forthcoming about the reasons.

We were coming back to SCHS from a home charter school program based on the reports on what a great job he is doing !! Please, please bring him back.

Mr Halt has done so much for our children in the short amount of time that he has been here. This is just horribly wrong. Please reconsider the decision that was made. This community has never spoken out as they have the past two days about a teacher/principal. He has met the goals that are set, and the children and parents have proven such.

I'm a senior in San Clemente high school. Mr.halt is the best principle we had. He's not just a principle to us he some you can go up and talk to a friend a pal. He gets involve with student activities. He sit in class with us and helps us with studies. He's the best I don't want him to leave. #savemr.halt

Principal Halt has been an exemplary Administrator, and as a student I can truly say that he cared about my education as well as my well-being. It is a serious mistake to hire someone so obviously universally loved by his community, staff, and students.

Principal Halt was a superlative leader and administrator in every regard. He was personable, professional, knew his students and faculty and was dynamically engaged with the families and local community. His sudden removal with no explanation is an embarrassment to the Capistrano Unified School District. We have had three of our children attend San Clemente HS... Principal Halt will be sorely missed.

Mr.halt has always supported the music program unlike anti ther principal we have had! He comes to our concerts and even sits in class to hear us sometimes. He also always comes and thanks us after we sing for any school function. Even though I will be graduating from schs this year I am still upset that he won't be back next year!
