Mr. Halt is the only principal I've ever known to actually care and get involved in the school. He is involved in our community and deserves to stay as head principal at SCHS. He treats students with respect and kindness, and always greets us. He knows the students names & he takes pride in our school. This is the first time I've ever seen students get involved and fight for a principal to stay. When 3,000 kids & their parents don't agree with the school board's decision, something is clearly wrong.

The best principal this school has seen in years. The students and parents respect and like his approach. This school has turned around so much so why change a good thing? Clearly the district isn't interested in what's best for the students of this school..

Mr. Halt has been an amazing principal for our school, and has been doing equally amazing things for our school. I have seen him at every single music performance I have at the school, supporting every program almost as if he directs them. He deserves to stay here at SCHS, not only because he is a wonderful principal of our school, but also the driving force in several improvements to SCHS, such as increased participation in AP and IB classes (now almost 1/3 of students), and a decrease in student truancies. He has done unimaginably significant work for us, and for this he deserves to be reinstated.

Me. Halt is a principal who knows my name, even if my teachers don't. As an ASB member and active participant in the school, I never was afraid to bring up new issues to him in fear of being rejected and ridiculed; instead, he supported, he cared, and he took action. We need more people like Mike Halt
