As you are aware, the current HOA bylaws only allow for inground pools in the neighborhood. Given our geography and the interest gauged from a recent Facebook neighborhood page question, this petition is for your support to modify the bylaws to allow above ground pools. All pools would still require HOA approval.

Above ground pools are allowed in all the surrounding suburbs ( Oswego and Yorkville) no reason why we shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy them too.
4122 Oak St. Inground pools cost way too much and I dont want to spend 40k just to cool off in the summer. Let us have the cheap stuff if we keep the yard looking nice.

3237 Julie Ln. The problem with above-ground pools is they are frequently not properly maintained and start to look bad. Not sure how you would enforce the astetic nature of the above-ground pool.
