I have been reading through all your comments about why the legacy of Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad matters so much and honestly it is blowing my mind how many people feel this deep connection. I am currently trying to figure out the best way to present this to the local historical committees because the history books just leave out so much. It feels like a lot of work but reading your stories makes it impossible to stop now.

Long overdue. The man was a real leader and he deserves this respect. Jan 12 needs to be official.

YES! We need to honor our own. This is about time someone stepped up to make this happen.
