Huddersfield Town - South Stand bid for home fans
In a bid to get the Galpharm rocking once again - week in, week out, we see this as an ideal opportunity to raise the matter of the South Stand becoming our own 'home' area. Acoustically, this stand is superb and without doubt, it is the one which holds all the noise and atmosphere, however, possibly to our detriment, as we currently have the away fans housed in there.
We must be one of very few clubs who have placed themselves at such a disadvantage by not allowing the home fans in a stand such as this, when quite easily home supporters could create an atmosphere which can act as a twelfth man in an effort to back the team. For all of those who watched Town playing at the old Leeds Road, it was always an intimidating ground for the opposition and the atmosphere could be electric at times.
If you are one of the many Huddersfield Town fans that would like to create a proper home 'end' atmosphere, by having the South Stand as our stand - preferably all of the stand, or at the very least - split between home and away fans like many other clubs, then please sign this petition and forward the link to those who are likeminded on this issue - thanks.
Just for clarity so anyone doesn't get put off - this is basically a free
petition website which the petition was created on, but apparently the company
makes its money from adverts and donations - So just click out of it if the
donations screen comes up, as the signature has already been recorded by this
stage (unless your obviously willing to donate)

UTT!! need to make the galpharm a fortress again.
Always felt wrong being in the south stand and not having a proper home section. We need to be backing the lads properly.
It makes no sense giving the best acoustic stand in the ground to the visitors. Sort it out.
The atmosphere has been dead for years. Stick the away fans in the corner and let us have our home end back.
ABOUT TIME THIS HAPPENED! Tired of seeing the south stand half empty with away fans barely filling a few rows.

Miss the days of Leeds Road. Needs to be loud again if we want to get results at home.
