HS 3801's grading scheme consists of two online quiz's (completion time of 60 minutes) and one final exam (2 hours). Student of HS 3801 feel as though they were not given enough course material in order to feel prepared for either the quizzes nor the final exam. The difficulty of the in class material provided by the professor is not equivalent to the material on the exams. With a total of 43 questions that our final grades are based on, there are no additional materials, practice exams or help sessions that help the HS 3801 students feel confident in even starting to complete these exams. We feel as though the grading method in this course is unfair and we want to see a change, where materials are provided for the students so they feel prepared for the exams in the course and that homework questions provided in class, are close to the difficulty level provided on the questions on the exam.
