You may have heard of the Councils proposals to site a Gypsy and Travellers site along the A19 corridor, which runs past Hadrian Park. If these plans were to go ahead the local area could suffer from an increase in crime and houses in the area could suffer from a decrease in value and become difficult to sell. On top of this the planned site is to be situated opposite Hadrian Park Primary School. Please sign the petition below and try and get as many friends and family as possible to try and get the Council to stop this from going ahead.

Keep this area for the locals not for a site that will just bring trouble. We have enough issues here already.
Why is this even being considered?? Totally ridiculous. Look for somewhere else.
Please listen to the residents for once. We dont want it here.
NO WAY. NOT IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
The price of our homes will drop overnight. Nobody wants this next to their house.

This is a terrible idea. Think about the people who actually live here and pay their council tax.
