Petition: Emerald Alliance VIII 2012 PSH/Housing Credit Funding Application Whereas: The Emerald Alliance VIII 2012 PSH/Housing Credit Funding Application for new HAP-contracted unit construction at 3701 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, OH submitted to OHFA on 16-Nov-2011, which, upon information and belief, by our estimate and knowledge of fact, does not comply with all state and federal regulatory funding requirements: • IRS Code § 42 Low-income Housing Credit: all requirements to inform the public of the proposed project by the date of submission and the QAP Minimum Project Standards, • HUD approved performance measurement standards and data collection requirements, site selection policy for affordable housing that require selected sites for new HAP-contracted units to be located outside of minority or low-income areas and to allocate such housing on a metropolitan-wide/county-wide basis and in Qualified Census Tracts, the intent of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. Therefore: We, the undersigned residents and business owners within one-half mile of the boundaries for the proposed project, Emerald Alliance VIII, 44113 object by way of petition to this project’s 2012 Housing Funding Application for Permanent Supportive Housing/Housing Credits [Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)/HAP].
