Hi, my name is Kelsey Murphy, and I wanted to get this increasing issue out into the open and see if we could do something about it. I am a DCI hornline member that also participates in WGI percussion. Now, doing both of these, most drum corps do not condone or goad this type of thing. While percussionists and guard members have WGI and DCI agree to allow them to miss drum corps camps for WGI, hornline members do not get the same permission. Hornline members are pretty much urged to not participate in WGI because we are not allowed to miss any camps. I am writing this petition to see if anyone else agrees that participating in both activities is both helping a person grow as a performer and and does improve their abilities for DCI.

ALLOW DCI CONDUCTORS/HORNLINE MEMBERS DO WGI. This affects more members than you know. (This can also be VERY important for the building of WGI Winds)
