We the undersigned residents of Horn Lake, MS out of concern for our families health would like the city to hire an independent contractor to access our current water situation immediately and to propose a solution. We would appreciate the City of Horn Lake to find this matter as urgent as the residents.

I spent the entire morning staring at the bathroom sink again because it honestly feels like every time I turn the handle the color just gets worse and I am so tired of wondering what is actually coming out of those pipes. I have been calling the municipal office every single day but they just put me on hold until the line disconnects and it makes me wonder if they think we will eventually just stop caring but we are not going anywhere.

Seeing all these people finally chime in is honestly overwhelming and I keep refreshing the page just to make sure it is real. It feels like moving a mountain piece by piece and I guess we have finally caught the attention of folks who were ignoring us before which is just wild to think about.

Brown water way to many times to count and my water bill goes from $60-100 and been $100 or more for several months
When I bought my home I was in Walls, Ms. Against my wishes I was annexed into Horn Lake and have had brown water almost every since! I have been sick and wonder how much of it is due to the water.
I have just installed a 2 person Jacuzzi and can't really use it due to the water is brown.
We have noticed stomach problems, especially in last few months. We should not have to inspect water constantly throughout the day or buy bottled water to use for cooking and drinking. We are distrustful even when water is clear.
I have mentioned water problem to office when paying bill. Was told to turn on outside faucets to flush lines. I have posted pic of dirty water on Next-door. Water stinks. Smells like the bottom of a funky lake!
This has gone on way to long. The excuses need to stop. We must have this fixed.
im tired of this city saying they fixed it just to have it happen again. no reason we should have to deal with brown water. they have no problem charging us every month... brown water needs to cease NOW!
