This petition is an effort to keep Hoover City Schools from stopping bus service. They are wanting to only provide bus service to children with special needs. That is discrimination against children without special needs and all children should be given equally opportunity. Stopping bus service will cause major issues for working parents and potentially cost a lot of money hiring someone to take their children to and from school. The school should stop iPads and Nooks before canceling bus service.
Seriously? I cant afford to quit my job just to drive my kids to school. Think about the families who actually need this service.

This is ridiculous. My husband and I both work full time and rely on these buses to get our kids to school on time. How are we supposed to manage this?

Priorities are way off here. Schools are for learning and getting there not for fancy tablets.
