Please don't let industrial wind and solar companies destroy rural Indiana! The energy is unreliable, takes up precious farmland and is overall bad for the environment when you look at the little energy produced compared to the waste that will end up in landfills. No part of the production of wind turbines or solar panels is environmentally friendly! Please do your research.

If you can find a cleaner and more efficiant way to produce the same megawatts as coal, I am all for it. No other resources currently, renewable or nonrenewable, can replace coal. My family depends on coal and yours does too if you turn on your lights every night. We NEED coal fired power plants!

Our county pushed renewables on us and we hardly even knew it was happening.

District 13 Rep. Sharon Negele and District 23 Sen. Phil Boots both stood before a group of Warren County citizens and told us wind projects were a 'local' concern and they would not intervene. Since then, Sen. Boots has authored S.B. 535 and Rep. Negele has been a driving force behind H.B. 1381. So much for local control when renewables are involved.

I think the crisis going on in Texas speaks volumes about what will happen if government eliminates fossil fuels and relies solely on wind and solar. It is not possible to sustain demand. Period.

I dont want these wind turbines in my backyard. I was a small town board member and our towns people and people around us voted on a 4 mile radius around our town and it should stay that way.
