I think I understood Matt Bell, Reliable Energy, on WFYI this evening say that they support HB-1381 as it is written. Reps. Soliday and Pierce don't want the 32 Counties in Indiana who have limited or banned large-scale wind and solar... to slow the progress toward Renewables for the State. I guess if you live in one of those 32 counties, if you've been fighting to protect your County over the last 5 years of your LIFE, well....too bad for YOU. It appears that living by wind turbines and solar fields will be your sacrifice for the STATE. Bye bye home values. We were told to handle it locally, and we did by ousting the old, and electing officials who represented the wishes of the majority of the county, the State decided they didn't like that. Now they'll change the laws to bring these insidious industries, whether we like it or not.

I do not want HB 1381! They tried to put them in Delaware and was voted down. The politicians who voted for them were voted out the next election.

Please do not just rely on the wind and solar energy. We people need to have a say in this matter to look out for our families. The power outages is not a good thing!!

Tenaska and is wanting to erect Solar Farms on 1200+ acres in southern Knox County. The main problem with their plan is they want to put these close to homes in the area, some only 200 ft from a homes foundation. There are many acres of coal reclamation ground in this same area with no homes. We wonder why the solar farms cannot be placed there. No one wants to look out their front door and see acres of solar panels.

My husband and I do not want industrial Turbines. We The People if our county should make decisions for our county. Not the State. Stay out of our county business.

Renewable energy is not reliable primary energy—wind and solar farms also encroach on rural lifestyles.

No solar farm in Greentown Indiana. Stop it from coming here! We don’t want or deserve to be surrounded by solar panels. Not safe or environmentally friendly!
