Please please vote to send a petition to the Cabinet Office to nominate Matt Baker for an honour for his contribution to charity work. Year after year he has been so amazing doing the Rickshaw Challenge for the One Show BBC1. He is so wonderful with each an every young person that takes part in this epic charity ride, deserving recognition for all his support, empathy and understanding. His passion to support the disadvantaged children, young people and their families just shines through. He is a fantastic inspiration to others. 423 miles covered on his bike to help and support young children in absolutely horrendous weather conditions and still crosses the finishing line with a huge smile. Well done MATT BAKER.

I really never expected to see this kind of response when I started. It is truly humbling to realize how many of you feel the exact same way about Matt and all he does for these children. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took the time to care.

Matt Baker deserves an honour and I’m surprised he hasn’t already been nominated. It’s amazing how some receive an honour within a year of doing one thing for charity and after many years Matt remains without one.
Matt Baker truly amazing with the young people inspiring them to achieve more than they dreamed and able to portray their stories to the television audience and to widen understanding
Matt Baker deserves an honour for all his dedication to raising money for children in need and the way he inspires the disadvantaged young people to take on such arduous rides with the rickshaw challenge. His encouragement and compassion and commitment year on year deserves recognition. We see people less deserving get honours every year.
Matt Bakers continued participation in rickshaw challenge for children in need is outstanding. Such an example of a truly honest and kind human being. He takes no glory but shows pure delight in the children’s achievements. Makes be cry every time!
Matt Baker has done the Rick shaw challenge for 11yrs and raised £41 million. Cant think of anyone who deserves to be honoured more
12 years of raising money with the Rickshaw Children. Nobody more deserving.

Whole heartedly agree, Matt is an unsung hero and is so compassionate about the charity and the children he works with raising considerable sums. If only the world had more Matts it would be a better place
